Five healthy lifestyle factors are associated with a significant reduction in coronary heart disease (CHD) risk in women. Compared to women who do not follow any of the healthy lifestyle factors, those who follow just three of the five have a 57% lower risk of developing CHD. With all five factors present, that risk drops even further (83%).
