Questions and Answers
Hi Mary Ann,
Happy New Year! My name is Dan Watts, I provide the training for the portable BodyMetrix Pro Ultrasound Body Composition System our company produces, and thought you might have interest as it goes far beyond numbers and percentages. Our website is www.bodymetrix.com/nutrition. Accuracy for body fat % is comparable to DEXA, but what’s unique is the ability to render easy images offering definitive proof similar to an X-ray showing fat and muscle thickness changes over time. It’s a powerful tool that validates the hard work clients put in, proving diet and nutrition adherence, exercise, and risk levels for chronic disease. Some of our clients include the RD's and nutritionists at EXOS, every major sports market, universities, wellness centers, etc. I'm happy to answer any questions you have or provide a web-based demo. If you're interested, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
My name is Matthew Smith and I am an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. Over the past couple of years I have been trying to put together a nutrition program for the kids. I have had some success with the football players, as far as what to refuel with after a game, but that has been the extent of what I have been able to do. I was wondering if you would be able to help me put together a nutrition program for the athletes. I am looking to have something that they could follow for meals during the week, as well as what to have on game day, pre/post game. If possible, I would also like to split it up by sport, since I know a football player would not eat the same as a cross country runner.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. Please let me know if you would be able to help.
