SCAN Fact Sheets: A Trusted Resource

SCAN offers Fact Sheets free of charge to its members and to the public. The Fact Sheets are created by Registered Dietitians (RDs) who are also SCAN members so you can trust that they are accurate and up-to-date. Please note that the Fact Sheet may be printed and copied for educational purposes only. Reproduction for sales purposes is not authorized.

Any Fact Sheet may be used as a handout for clients. To do so, click on the PDF and print a single copy. Some of the files are large and may take time to download depending on the speed of your Internet connection. If you are having difficulty, right click on the link and choose “Save As…” This usually resolves the problem of slow downloading.
